Desired Experiences:  Design fire sprinkler systems, prepare hydraulic calculations, coordinate sprinkler design via 2D/BIM, prepare “as-built” drawings, perform field surveys, prepare stock lists and material requisitions.  Must be knowledgeable and experienced at applying National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and of NYC fire protection code. SprinkCAD skills are preferred.

Desired Experience: Experience in installing fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, standpipe, in-rack, trash chute systems including fire pumps.  Manage multiple crews, maintain and provide tracking for all crews, train field personnel on site, attend job site meetings and inform of any scope changes.

Desired Experience:  Experience in fire sprinkler system repairs, FDNY hydrostatic testing and on-site troubleshooting.

Desired Experience:  Experience in assisting in the installation of fire sprinkler systems.  Read blueprints and plans to layout and prep material, perform cutting, threading and grooving on a Rigid 300 power machine, maintenance of the job site.  Follow direction of lead mechanic.

Desired Experience:  Experience inspecting fire sprinkler and standpipe systems in accordance with NFPA 25.  Candidate should have the ability to accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.  Candidates must have their Certificate of Fitness for Citywide Sprinkler Systems and Standpipe Systems (S-12) and (S-13).
